"Cranes and chrysanthemum represent longevity in Japanese culture. Chrysanthemum also symbolizes rejuvenation and nobility. A couple of cranes are happily flying in this painting. I hope that this painting gives the viewers the feelings of peace, joy, and calmness."

This painting was initially painted for the Japanese Cultural and Community Center of Northern California (JCCCNC) in 2015. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to honor JCCCNC.
